Is there a difference bewteen being a shoe "collector" and shoe "head"? Both are important pieces to keeping the shoe game relevant, but in my opinion there is a difference between the two. If your collection looks like the picture posted, then you are definitely a collector. To be a true collector, you need to have unworn pairs within your collection. If you are that guy that goes on the hunt for multiple pairs of the kicks you love, one to wear, and one to save then you are a collector. Shoe "heads", albeit very important to the shoe game, are not the same as a collector. Shoe "heads" are those that make a point to get every shoe that "they" love, but they buy to display the kicks on their feet, not on a shelf or in a closet. Shoe "heads" buy the shoes that they love, whereas a "collector" will even spend the money on the kicks that they may not like themselves, but they recognize what an important piece those kicks will be to their collection. As an employee at a store, you love when either of these customers come through the door, because you know both are big spenders. The difference is that you may never again see the product that you have sold to the shoe "collector", but you know that at some point, maybe not very often, you will see the kicks that you sold the shoe "head".
