It was the year 1992, Deveroes started out with a small store at Swifton Commons, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Most of you now know it as Jordan Crossings. During this time, hip hop fashion was on the rise. It was the day of Karl Kani, Fila, Guess Jeans, Sergio sweatsuits, silk shirts, and leather 8-ball jackets. Of Starter parkas, Discus sweats, canvas K-Swiss, Nautica, Vangrack, Phat Farm, Big Dog tees, and Perry Ellis.

These styles later gave way to Wu-Wear, Mecca, Pelle Pelle, Timberland, Rocawear, and Fubu.

To Mitchell & Ness throwback jerseys, A1's, Velours, and all-over prints. The world of hip-hop fashion has yet to hit it's pinnacle. We have been on the scene since then, and will continue to be here through the new, as the fashions transform right before our eyes. Share your thoughts, comments, and reminisce with us. What was your favorite post 90's period in hip-hop fashion? Can you remember a specific outfit that you had during that time? Where do you think it will go? Only time will tell.
