Air Jordan 9 Retro coming this Saturday to a Deveroes near you

The Air Jordan IX (9) was released in 1993.  The same year that Michael retired for the first time, a time of turmoil for MJ.  He had recently lost his father and decided to pursue a career in baseball.  This was the first shoe released without Jordan in the NBA.  There was also a cleated model that he wore during his stint on the Birmingham Barons.

This retro represents the point in MJ's career when he truly became an international icon.  The feature that best represents this international superstar transition is the bottom of the shoes.  There are words in many languages that describe Mike's swag on the court.

Air Jordan Fusion 8 to hit Deveroes stores Saturday, May 22nd.

 

Jordan Brand will release this Air Jordan Fusion 8 black/varsity red-flint grey on May 22nd, 2010. This Jordan has a black suede base and features a white, red, gray, and black multi-colored design on the heel. It is also finished with a flint grey midsole and a black/red outsole.

Air Jordan 2010 "Welcome Home" D-Wade!!! 5-8-2010

Welcome home D-Wade!!!  These quickstrike Air Jordan 2010's are believed to be rumored that they were designed for D-Wade, a.k.a. "Flash", specifically with his return to his home town in Chicago, Illinois to play for MJ's former dynasty, the Chicago Bulls.  Now whether there is some truth to this rumor or not, one thing is a guarantee. Air Pippen to hit stores May 7th

This retro will hit the Deveroes shelves on May 7th, 2010. We have seen lots of hybrids of this shoe, but this one is unaltered.

These classics have an all white leather upper,traces of metallic silver adorn the Nike and Pippen logos on the toebox, tongue, as well as the heel. The outsole is all black and broken up by a circular pattern on the forefoot, with a visible air unit in the heel.

Kentucky Derby Weekend

This past weekend, the Kentucky Derby was held in Louisville, it was a busy weekend for Deveroes.  It's a good thing we had some of our out of towners show up to help with the mayhem.  Thanks to all that helped out this year for Derby Weekend.
